We've supported local businesses in the community by becoming a member of the Daly City Chamber of Commerce. We participated in the Business 2 Business event on April 23, 2015 where we talked with local families and businesses. We want to establish ourselves not just as a dental office in Daly City, but as an active member of financial growth and services in Daly City.
Being a local business gives us the opportunity to get to know our community up close, and get to know other local business owners as well. Dr. Jone thinks it's important to get to know the residents of Daly City and build strong relationships to help the community thrive.
Did you know that in 1963, JFK announced the first "Small Business Week"? The idea of supporting local businesses isn't a new one, but it changes every year. But how do you support small businesses, other than just purchasing their goods and services?
Don't just eat dinner locally - make it a night! Every Wednesday is dinner night at Lisa's Mexican Restaurant or another favorite local spot. Not only will you get delicious food & support a local business, you'll be treated like family.
Did you love your waiter? Get the best haircut ever? Tell your friends! Share it on social media, leave a review! Trust me, we LOVE that kind of stuff. Word of mouth is the best thing for local businesses to thrive. Then, when new people or visitors are looking for a great place to eat (or a new dental office), they'll have an idea of where to try.
What's your favorite local spot?
